Who must attend training to use InfoEd?

Institution policy is that you must compete the InfoEd eLearning Training Demo 1 before Research IT Department is allowed to grant you access. As an alternative, you can designate an experienced user in your department to be your delegate in InfoEd. This person will have access to all of your proposals in InfoEd. They will do the actual work for you in InfoEd. Research IT will support your delegate, but cannot support you directly until you have completed the InfoEd eLearning Training Demo 1 at PEAK. If you choose that option, when you ask for access, you must indicate who your delegate will be. Either way, we can grant you access: if you complete the eLearning Demo 1 or designate a person who will do the work for you in InfoEd.

For PIs who will not complete the eLearning Training, but who have delegates support them in InfoEd, fill out an InfoEd New User Request here: http://osticket.mssm.edu/support/open.php

If you choose to forego training and have a delegate do your work in InfoEd, please remember, Research IT will support your delegate, but cannot support you directly until you have completed the InfoEd eLearning Training Demo 1. If you are working against a deadline and need help with the system, you will need to depend upon your delegate to be available to support you.
